Why MusicEdNow?

Music teaching involves a huge amount of preparation: creating listening activities, producing worksheets, adapting resources, preparing musical examples and finding ways for students to interact meaningfully with music.

MusicEdNow is being developed from the perspective of a practising music teacher, with tools built around those everyday classroom tasks.

Technology with a musical purpose.

The aim is not to add technology for its own sake. MusicEdNow focuses on places where software can remove repetitive work, give teachers greater flexibility or help students engage more directly with musical ideas.

One growing toolkit.

Listening Exercises, the Worksheet Generator and ChordNow are part of a wider MusicEdNow platform that will continue to develop around the needs of music teachers and students.
